TotaalOnder1Dak cares about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (the improvement of) our services and we are careful with the information that we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services of TotaalOnder1Dak accessed from it. The effective date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 01/01/2021, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, where this information is used and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you have provided to us.

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), what security techniques we use and to whom the data is accessible.

Webshop software

Wordpress and Woocommerce (VPS Hosting)

Our webshop is developed with Wordpress software. Personal data that you make available to us for our services are shared with this party. Wordpress has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. 

Wordpress is obliged by the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Wordpress uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. 

Wordpress reserves the right to share collected data within its own group of companies in order to further improve its services.

Web Hosting

Closte VPS Hosting

We purchase web hosting and email services from Closte Hosting. Closte Hosting processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Closte Hosting has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Closte Hosting is bound to secrecy under the agreement.

E-mail and mailing lists

MailChimp, ActiveCampaign

We send our email newsletters with MailChimp and/or ActiveCampaign. MailChimp and/or ActiveCampaign will never use your name and email address for their own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data will be stored securely by MailChimp and/or ActiveCampaign. MailChimp and/or ActiveCampaign make use of cookies and other internet technologies which give insight in whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp and/or ActiveCampaign reserves the right to use your data for further improvement of the service and in the context of this to share information with third parties.

Zoho Mail 

We use the services of Zoho Mail for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Zoho has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic as confidential.

Payment processors

Mollie

For handling (part of) the payments in our store we use the platform of Mollie.

platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and city details and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. Mollie shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit reference agencies in the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility). 

All of the above safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie services for which they engage third parties. Mollie will not keep your data longer than permitted by law.

Reviews

Google Reviews

We collect reviews via the platform of Google Reviews. If you leave a review through Google Reviews, you are required to provide a name and e-mail address. Google Reviews shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. Google Reviews will also publish your name on its own website. In some cases, Google Reviews may contact you to explain your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and e-mail address with Google Reviews. They will only use this data for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. Google Reviews has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. 

Google Reviews reserves the right to use third parties for the provision of services, for this we have given Google Reviews permission. All aforementioned guarantees with respect to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the service for which Google Reviews engages third parties.

Shipping and logistics

DHL

If you place an order with us it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence with DHL. DHL will only use this data for the execution of the contract. In case DHL calls in subcontractors, DHL will also provide your data to these parties. 

FRL Distribution

If you place an order with us it is our job to deliver your package to you. We make use of the services of FRL Post to perform the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence details with FRL Post. FRL Post will only use this information for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that FRL Post hires subcontractors, FRL Post will also give your information to these subcontractors. 

FRL Post will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and bookkeeping

Zoho CRM

We use the services of Zoho CRM to keep our administration and bookkeeping up to date. We share your name, address and details regarding your order. This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored protected. Zoho CRM is obliged to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. 

Zoho CRM will not use your personal data for other purposes than described above.

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information – other than at your request – to 

contact you at a later date, we will ask you for your explicit permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. 

These third parties are all bound to secrecy by virtue of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation. 

Automatically collected data

Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. These data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) are not personal data. 

Cooperation with fiscal and criminal research

In occurring cases TotaalOnder1Dak can be obliged by a legal obligation to share your information in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by the authorities. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will resist within the possibilities offered by the law. 

Retention periods

We will retain your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we will keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a request to forget. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we must store invoices containing your (personal) data.

You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relates to your person or can be traced back to you, carried out by another party. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is 

granted, we will send you copies or copies of all the data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties at the email address we have on record. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing services in such a case, as the secure interconnection of data files can then no longer be guaranteed. 

Right to object and other rights

When the occasion arises, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of TotaalOnder1Dak. If you object we will immediately stop the data processing pending the settlement of your objection.
